New Damage Detection Plugin for ARTeMIS Modal Pro 3.0

Featuring a rapid and automatic assessment tool for whether or not a system has changed its dynamic behavior.

The algorithms implemented are robust towards changes in environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, as well as changes of vibration levels. Therefore they are very suitable for e.g. monitoring of civil engineering structure.

They can detect even very small dynamic changes of any structure subjected to some kind of broad banded ambient excitation (wind, waves, micro tremors, etc.). The major advantage is that the detection doesn’t rely on tracking changes of a few modes. Instead it checks all the dynamics from DC to the Nyquist frequency which is why it is very reactive towards even small changes of the dynamics.

It is possible to import data automatically from any third party data acquisition system, and to forward alert notifications back to a third party system. Therefore it can be integrated into an existing system. Once it is set up, there is no user interaction needed.
