Case Study – Ambient Vibration Testing of a Dam, Canada

This case consider measurements conducted on a Canadian dam.

The Frequency Domain Decomposition (FDD) method, available in all versions of ARTeMIS Modal, was used in the analysis showed below.

Two Kinemetrics Episensors mounted on the rock next to the dam.
The dam seen from the high water level side.
The dam seen from the high water level side.
The dam seen from the low water level side.
The dam seen from the low water level side.
